A Results-Oriented Philosophy
I believe in taking time to ask questions and listen to my patients, to uncover the root cause of the problem. I am results oriented. I use my skills to arrive at a diagnosis and treatment plan tailored to the individual, to achieve the desired result - a successful outcome.
private practice and teaching
In my private practice, located in Scottsdale, Arizona, I welcome patients of all ages with a wide variety of conditions, including cancer treatment-related disorders, dry mouth (xerostomia), stress and anxiety, women’s health, neurology, dermatology, and ophthamology.
the gentle power of chinese medicine
Traditional Chinese Medicine is both benign and powerful. Because its treatments are noninvasive, they are easy on the body. Patients are often surprised by the power of acupuncture to diminish or eliminate pain, enhance the healing of wounds, ease emotional stress and strengthen the immune system.
Acupuncture and herbs are particularly useful in treating chronic conditions, such as unrelenting pain, difficulty breathing, swelling, and problems with movement.
Herbs are an important component of Chinese Medicine. They have earthy aromas and unaccustomed flavors that harken back to an ancient age. Their ability to soothe and calm, to replenish vitality, and to cleanse the body of toxins is profound—and these are just a few of their dynamic healing influences on the human body.
